Laptop

ASUS Vivobook

I personally prefer ASUS Vivobook laptops because they've proven reliable over years of tutoring and daily use.

For most tutors I’d recommend:

  • Intel Core 7/Core Ultra 7 (or AMD Ryzen 7 equivalent)

  • 16 GB RAM (32 GB if your budget allows)

  • 512 GB SSD minimum

  • Windows 11

  • 15.6”-17” touchscreen

Recommended model

ASUS Vivobook 16 Touchscreen

(or a comparable ASUS Vivobook model with similar specifications)

Amazon Basics 2.4 GHz Wireless Optical Mouse

A simple, inexpensive wireless mouse that's been reliable for everyday tutoring and work.

Mousepad

MROCO Ergonomic Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist Rest

Comfortable for long tutoring and writing sessions and helps reduce wrist fatigue.

MEKO 3 in 1 Capacitive Stylus Pen

Perfect for annotating documents, solving math problems, and writing naturally on a touchscreen.
